I bought this audible book in hopes to learn the language but unfortunately there were a lot of segments in each chapter that would say “ how do you say this” and then it would be silent when they would translate. Very annoying. I would not recommend. A lot of stuff I would have to use Google translate.

A lot of silent parts

First off let me say I am not new to the Macedonian language having been married to a Macedonian for 22 years and having been to the country about 4 times. I was looking for something to help me learn more of the language to have better conversations.

With that being said this book, within the first 2 minutes and 50 seconds, mispronounced the name of the country (several times), the name of the capital of Macedonia, and the name of a popular alcoholic beverage drank in the country. Honestly how can you create a language book about a country and not prounce the name of the country correctly?

I pushed past the horrible beginning to get to the lessons after all that's more important. And I'm not evenly remotely impressed. It's just bad.

Absolutely Horrible
