I REALLY love how this story seamlessly mixes SciFi elements of invasion with the unique pseudo biblical setting. The Nerration is top notch as always!

I really wanted more of their romance. Instead we get a glimpse of its beginnings at the very end of the book. There isn’t a sequel to their story either. Seeing her love hold through the test of time and his understanding that she truly loved him. It feels like she got what she wanted and he still has his doubts.
