  • The dark side of parentingand how to ensure you never go there.
  • A new approach to parenting that promises to replace anger and discord with love and harmony.
  • The secret organizations that successful parents turn to for help—and where to find them.

This is more than just surface-level advice. It's about transformative inner work, focusing on self-improvement, self-analysis, and reflection. Compared to many resources, this book doesn't offer quick fixes. It emphasizes and shines the light on foundational work that can lead to lasting harmony, understanding, and peace within your family.

"But does the author truly understand what I'm going through?"

Absolutely. This book is written with empathy for the struggles parents face. I've experienced firsthand the drama, arguments, and chaos that can consume a family. My experience inspired me to break free from generational patterns and learn from my parent's mistakes, and I am now sharing these insights with you.

"Will this work for me?"

Yes. Even if you feel like you're at your wit's end, this book can provide the tools and techniques to master your anger and transform your life.

The book helped me slow down and become more aware of my triggers. It gave me practical tools to pause before reacting, communicate more calmly, and actually listen instead of just responding. One of the biggest changes for me was learning how to separate my emotions from the situation, which made a huge difference in how I showed up as a parent.

Since applying what I learned, I’ve noticed a real shift in my household. My kids are more open with me, they talk to me more, and there’s a level of trust that wasn’t there before. Instead of arguments escalating, we’re able to have conversations. I feel more in control of myself, and they feel more comfortable around me.

This helps so much!

This book is honestly a game changer, just wow! It really brought out a lot of skeletons in the closet and gave me the realization that a lot of the anger I was experiencing was my own unconscious triggers and behaviors. Not only did I learn the reason I am the way I am, but the book made me feel empowered to take accountability for my actions not just for myself but for my kids.

Also the narration was so soothing and relaxing to listen to I really enjoyed listening to it the book! She did a great job. Thank you Matthew for writing such an important book I can see this definitely helping out tons of parents in need.

A must read for every parent!

As the title suggests, (it’s not the kids it’s you) the book was a pure reflection on past traumas and your perceptions of what you face with your children.

It opened my mind to the idea that how I respond is 100% my responsibility, and that gave me such a sense of power and control of the situation.

Also super insightful as I reflected on my younger days and how my parents raised me and how it’s our job to break the generational cycle and build something better.

A must read in my opinion

I found the book super insightful
