Great story following an entertainingly gruff leading man, but the real star of the story is the twisty road of the plot with one unexpected turn after another. A fun exploration of what happens when the good side and the bad side have members on both sides of the law in a contest between the highest levels of heroes and villains. Couldn’t stop listening to it, even staying up late for the final confrontation. Here’s hoping we get more stories from this motley crew and Mr. Koon.

This is probably the worst book I’ve tried to listen to in a long time. If you like a book without any idea where it’s going or how to get there then this is the book for you. I listened to it for almost 4 hours before giving up and surrendering..I’ve listen to my share of stinkers but this one takes the cake. Maybe it will be one of the books in the free catalog soon if you really want to try it this is the second review that I should have never purchased. Sorry to be negative. Ive listened to a lot of great books but two bad choices in a row makes me not to want to try a new author
