A.G. Wilde has created a series that is not for the faint of heart. it is a bit scary, raw and gritty. Without giving to much away Aliens and not good ones descend without warning and life on Earth will never be the same again. Adira in her pre alien life was a vet. she was on a run when all Hell broke loose and she's been running ever since. they she's caught and that's when she finds out what the aliens really want. it look hopeless until another alien race that has slow been devastated but this invader comes from very far away to warn in but their a little to late so now they are here to help us fight. Fer'ro can't believe they were late with their warning he and his men will do whatever it take to protect this new planet . He's especially drawn to the beautiful and fiery Adira who he rescued. will Adira and Fer'ro be able to learn to trust one another to fight a common enemy ? will their blossoming love be the start of something new? you need to listen and find out. great series and overall good narration💖🔥🌟💖🔥🌟🔥💖🔥🌟

WOW!! Overall, the narrators did a good job with bringing this story to life. The story is suspenseful and a touch sad. It is a captivating story that definitely had me hook, line and sinker. It is a dystopian kind of story where aliens are destroying everything they come in contact with. The women are bred and killed. The story starts of with three captured women in a cage in the machine. Then another alien race comes to save them sparking some unforeseen outcomes. I loved this story and the characters! Adira, a human veterinarian, is one of the captured women. Fer'ro and his brothers rescue them. Fer'ro is immediately drawn to Adira. She is a little apprehensive about these new aliens. The story is slow build with not stop action and suspense. The story does have angst, danger, fear, excitement and great twists and turns. It does read as a stand alone and I cannot wait to sink into the next story.

Love the characters, the story was exciting and had some different twists than I am not used to and I read a lot of KU. I can’t wait to get to the next book. The only criticism I had is that while the author went to great lengths to set up the story line in detail, I felt that the hopelessness and despair of the first few chapters went on for a very long time. I considered putting the book down, but was glad I did not.

Apocalyptic world caused by vicious, alien entities. Their whole goal is to strip the world of valuable resources that can be obtained easily. Their use of humans for their own goals is absolutely disgusting, so be aware this could have triggering events for some individuals. However, I found this to be a very interesting book.

I was trying to get into this book but the woman narrator was not good. She was reading like a news reporter or like she was the robot. It was very monotone and made the book seem boring when the story was interesting.
