Everyone's got a story to tell. If your story involves growing up among different cultures - either moving between them or having them move around you - then listen to this audiobook. Growing up and transitioning cross-culturally can present unexpected challenges and bestow surprising skills. This is an audiobook of adventures to help identify some of those challenges and use some of those skills in your own life - which is important because you've got more to contribute to the world than you realize.

This book is a great blend humor and education. Highly recommend for military brats (no offense I was one too) and those that have been immersed in multiple cultures during their youth. Chris is a gifted storyteller and is able to make you feel like you are sharing the experience with him.

Great mix of humor and education.

I'm giddy that this book is available in audio. It is packed with insight into the practical challenges and the unique beauty of growing up globally. I love that it doesn't take the standard "woe is me, I'm a TCK" stance or the other standard "everything is awesome." Chris honestly and vulnerably unpacks the inevitable paradox with humor, wit, and brilliance that has been born out of his own experience. As a parent who is raising kids abroad, I feel like Chris opens the door for me to step into the mind and heart of my own children. And to hear it in his voice -- a single voice with multiple, legitimate accents -- adds layers of impact. Thank you Chris. Please write more.

Much needed brilliance for global families
