Artificial Condition is the follow-up to Martha Wells's Hugo, Nebula, Alex, and Locus Award-winning, New York Times bestselling All Systems Red.

It has a dark past—one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself “Murderbot”. But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more.

Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don’t want to know what the “A” stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue.

What it discovers will forever change the way it thinks…

Performed by David Cui Cui, Elena Anderson, Alejandro Ruiz, Bradley Foster Smith, Carolyn Kashner, Eric Messner, Jeri Marshall, Ken Jackson, Marni Penning, Michael John Casey, Rayner Gabriel, Scott McCormick, Shanta Parasuraman and Yasmin Tuazon.

Why did the guy playing Murderbot talk so fast?? great story but why the speed talker?

Good thing I read the book first. Had a hard time following the speed talker!

The performances were fine, though a bit brisk and even rushed. I just wanted more Murderbot so I don't regret adding this version to my library but I would encourage anyone new to the MB diaries to start with the non-dramatized book(s) instead. K R Free's narration really brings the characters to life so you won't miss out and I think this dramatization lacks the depth and flavor.

not as engaging as Kevin R. Free narration of unabridged

Murderbot is ingenious and loyal to a fault. I really like the guy and I like the Apple TV series too.

Very human

One of the best things about a book you can’t put down is the amazing story and journey that you go upon within your own mind. Sadly, now the story is over as I have binge the entire series. I hope that the author continues to write more. I will have to wait to see.

Just wow!

Interesting storyline and well acted. I'd like a bit more world building, but still enjoyable. The main character seems to appropriately struggle with its place in the world.

Well acted and interesting
