I love the power struggle between the main characters. MC, unlike a lot of similar novels, is not annoying at all and is a great perspective to read the story from. The story is interesting and well-paced, and the bond between the MC and Zara brings a lot of character development to both characters. Would definitely recommend

Saw quite a few bad reviews about this series( wah wah it’s not Lorien legacies mostly) but I couldn’t stop listening and I can’t wait to get the next book
