In this Saturday Movie Session of the 8th Way of the Mystic Weekend, themed "As If There Is No World," David Hoffmeister uses a rare demonstration of deep devotion to remind us that salvation is not a matter of time, but of prayer and desire.

Quoting the movie’s protagonist, David explains that we reach "Paradise through toil and chastity"—metaphorical terms for disciplined mind training and purity of thought. Ultimately, the world's purpose is to strengthen our faith, and every single situation, without exception, can serve as an opportunity to deepen the trust that would settle all problems now. By maintaining our connection with God regardless of external forms, we keep our hearts open to Guidance until we reach the lived experience of the Truth that sets us free.
These gatherings take place every weekend in February and March 2026 and include teachings, films, music, panel discussions, and live Q&A sessions with David Hoffmeister.
