I've been home alone for the last few days and discovered that if I don't have a plan for dinner, I will just not eat until I get so starving that I make a big, overly cheesy grilled cheese sandwich. In this episode, I tell you what I did on Day 2 of alone time so that I didn't end up starvingly stuffing cheese in my mouth at 10pm again. I also have a tangent about garlic powder, and I'm share a very simple, tasty recipe for thin-sliced boneless short ribs (flanken-style ribs). This is something I make all the time but don't have a written down recipe for. But really, it doesn't need one because it really is just that easy.
