In the early hours of Sunday 9th June 1996, 25 year old Melanie Hall disappeared after visiting the Cadillacs nightclub in Bath city centre with her boyfriend and two friends. When her family reported her missing on the Monday evening, after being unable to get in contact with her, police immediately launched an investigation, to no avail. 13 years later, her skeletal remains were discovered on a slip road to the M5 motorway. A partial DNA match has been recovered but no one has been linked to the case. As we approach the 30 year mark of her disappearance, the police are launching a fresh appeal.
