I was pleasantly surprised with this book! I had assumed it would carry the same tierd tropes of basic witchcraft that is in any new age book but instead takes a secular view on magic and witchcraft which is pretty refreshing.

I have a singular complaint and that was in the familiar chapter. Guinea pigs are herd animals. They are very social and the author notes a con of "not being a pack animal" so it rubbed me the wrong way but its a minor point so no points taken off for that lol.
