RULE #1 OF WALL STREET: DON’T HUNT WHAT YOU CANNOT EAT.

I’m the king of the business world. The Alpha of my pack. No one dares challenge me.

Except my new assistant.

She questions me to my face and calls me Big Bad Boss behind my back. When I give her an order, she asks me why, with all my billions, I can’t afford some manners.

Worse, the little human smells like temptation. She dresses to kill, and I want to sink my teeth into her.

One day my control’s going to snap, and a wolf never stops hunting until he’s claimed his prey.

Midnight is book one in the Big Bad Boss trilogy. It features a billionaire boss-hole wolf shifter and his freakishly smart assistant set in the Bad Boy Alpha world created by Renee Rose and Lee Savino.

"The way I devoured Big Bad Boss! A crazy hot alpha werewolf billionaire and his assistant who has no idea who he is? Yes, please!! I could not get enough! Hot, smart, and sexy, this is an absolute must-read!!"—New York Times Bestselling Author A. L. Jackson

The story was so good. Narration was excellent.
I'm chomping at the bit waiting for the next!

Good storyline, funny, romance! Loved it except for the cliffhanger! It is not a standalone book. So I’m anxiously waiting for the next book.

Cliffhanger! Great listen!

I enjoyed this series enough that I bought the audio’s. Midnight is the first and introduces us to Brick Blackthroat and his pack, and Madison, his human assistant. Brick is drawn to Madi like no one before her. Madi is sassy, sexy, confident, smart, and can hold her own against Brick.
The performances are great and the narrators also perform the other 2 books of the series.
I like Madi, even though she lusts after her boss, she isn’t “man crazy” and I appreciate that. She stands up for herself, calls him out or at least cuts to the chase about their personal interactions, but doesn’t shy away from the knowledge that Brick wants her carnally and uses it to her advantage. If I have any notes it’s the running bit with the dresses. It feels overused in this story but that’s just me.

I recommend this series, the books are on the shorter side and can be easily read in an afternoon if you have the time.

Great shifter boss/assistant story. 1/3

The characters are well developed. I like how Maddie is straight forward and doesn't back down. I hope Bric in the next book start to show his true feelings toward his family. The one draw back that I thought it was an interracial romance BWWM.
