THEY LEFT SEEKING SANCTUARY
THEY RETURNED SEEKING VENGEANCE

All of America knows what happened in Sanctuary - a boy lost his footing at a party and a town went mad with grief. But not everyone believes it.

Now Detective Maggie Knight is forced before a congressional hearing, following a revival of persecution that hasn't been seen since Salem.

Exiled witch Sarah Fenn and her daughter Harper fled, seeking refuge. Instead, they find hope carried on whispers of a dangerous magic and a centuries-old legend promising power.

Until a brutal magical crime throws them all back into the crucible.

Murder mystery meets dark fantasy in this scorching fusion of modern-day witchcraft, small-town secrets, and the persecuted reclaiming their power - perfect for fans of Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow, and Her Majesty's Royal Coven by Juno Dawson.

Listen to this after watching the first season, still easy to follow. Just small details were different.

Great listen

Did not like any of the narration. I became impatient with the slow pace of the story.

the story is a good sequel to the first Sanctuary book, but you might be happier reading it rather than listening to it. For some of the voice actors, there were many words mispronounced, which became distracting. Can't they find voice talent who understand what is being read and pronounce the words correctly? Also, some of the voice actors over dramatized their parts. It's good to show emotion but not to overdo it.

good story, mediocre listening experience
