Fantasy romance, some spice, has some triggers for sensitive readers, was gripping and kept my attention, cliffhanger wasnt bad, continues into a second book. Sad it wasnt a not a duel narration, pleasant voices.

Glad I listened to this because it is all around CHEF'S KISS. 🤌🏻😍 The FMC wasn't a whiny bum, but someone who got stuff DONE. Do not mess with her! Also the MMC is a heartthrob and my new book bf. All the characters supported the story well and I'm just as in love with them, as I am with the mains. Just the right amount of steam for me, too. Cannot wait for the next book!

My main gripe is that the female narrator took a lot of long and unnecessary pauses between words/sentences in the middle of paragraphs which completely took me out of the story.
