For a first-time read, Chelsea Applegate did a great job bringing this story to life. Her narrating technique was smooth and engaging, making it easy to get drawn into the mystery. The story itself was enjoyable, and the twist at the end was exactly the kind of surprise you want in a book like this. A strong start to the series, made even better by a solid performance.
