The Borderland Beat project is collaboration from a group of people of different backgrounds located in the US and Mexico that gather information related to the Mexican drug cartels and presents it in English through the internet, publications, and presentations.

The information in this audiobook is fast-paced, with a lot of drug trafficking organization (DTO) information thrown at you at once. It's filled with hit men activity and the Mexican government's attempt to intervene, but it also contains a lot of direct, behind-the-scenes information from the author.

The particular information in this audiobook is the involvement of the author from his early stages when he started to formalize his plan to bring to life the Borderland Beat Project. Follow Buggs as he sets the stage and takes you on a wild ride in to the dark shadows of the violence and chaos of the Mexican drug cartels.

Get ready for a narrative of the deep dark world of Borderland Beat.

love this subject & good books like this written in English
are hard to find. I really enjoyed it. packed full of information and entertaining. I watch the YOUTUBE channel as well although episodes are somewhat sporadic(just in case you want to scratch that borderland beat itch 😆) I would definitely recommend this audiobook!

Informative and entertaining

Enjoying the listen... my only main issue is .50BMG or .50Cal is repeatedly called 50mm... A .50Cal what is clearly meant is if measured in millimeters is 12.7mm later a 12GA is referred to 12mm. Not a huge deal just annoying as a "gun guy".

Amazing performance and story.

This book starts off promising, with the author describing a time he was riding through Mexico on a motorcycle and sharing his personal experiences. However, the book quickly turns into a what is essentially a catalog of cartel murders. There isn’t a whole lot of story. We basically jump from description of one brutal torture/murder to another.

Collection of murders

If the author would’ve stopped writing to such an extent about his own blog and how great it was it might have actually been a good book.
