Tessa Afshar is one of my favorites! This is the story of Lydia, being kind, living with integrity, and how God works all things together for good for those who love Him.

Great Reading and Character Development

This was a new narrator for me and she is awesome. I listen to all my books because I’m blind. This book is so rich in Biblical history. I really enjoyed the portrayal of Paul, though he was a minor character. Looking forward to more by this author. I always pre order her books when they become available.

I loved the realistic "between the lines" fictional story of a woman mentioned in the Bible. The Old Testament quotes prophecising the Messiah and Paul's testimony were fantastic! I love prophecy, and this fictional account of a woman mentioned in the New Testament had a great collection. The example of God's protection and a life lived applying Biblical principles was also realistic and practical.

This was a beautiful story. I very much enjoyed listening to it. It’s a story that you could listen with your children. It will uplift your soul. Thank you Tessa for this beautiful works.
