5 years after Xavier Saint crossed every line in the book, he's back to convince Waverly Sinner to give him a 2nd chance.

There's some pretty intense explanations of how broken X was after nearly losing Waverly on her own star on Hollywood Blvd. I still don't blame Waverly a bit for being angry at him for how he handled his pain.

Waverly got her degree and bought a couple of homes. She's definitely a stronger person than she was in Crossing The Line. She's also learned a lot about subterfuge, espionage, and sharpshooting in her moonlighting career for Target Studios.

Something's not right about the most recent job she was sent on with her co-star, Dante Wrede. She gets shot (no spoiler, it's on page 1) and Dante disappears. So while she's trying to figure out what to do next, Xavier reappears in her life with a declaration that he's still in love with her and he's going to stick like glue until she agrees to give him another chance.

Xavier's about to learn a lot about the woman he's in love with.
