Taking a much needed vacation with a group of friends, Avram encounters a lost child in the remains of an ancient building. In the shadow haunted ruins, the girl disappears with a breath like desert winds, taking Avram's memories of the encounter with her. Thus begins a descent into madness, corruption, and death as a growing plague of evil hounds the companions' every step.

Not a bad book. Not the best at reviews but I do recommend this one.

I loved this book!It isn't often you find a book that keeps you in suspense but this one did.Miguel Perez does a fantastic job narrating. While on holiday a man notices that the children of his friends are acting weird. He also keeps seeing a little girl. Then he forgets..until the next time it happens.I was provided this book free by the author, narrator or publisher.

Typically thriller/paranormal books like this one immediately draw me in. That was not my experience with 'Breath' - it felt very slow to get going and my interest in the characters/story wasn't peaked until about half way through. It's not that it was a bad listen, I just didn't love it and didn't find it very intriguing. I listened to the whole thing because by the middle, I did in fact want to know what happened to Avram. I really liked that the story took place internationally in many exotic locations and the narration was quite good throughout. My final complaint is that the book ended rather abruptly and in an unsatisfying way! I would only recommend this book to any friends who really love vampire stories.

Slow Start

This book took me a bit to get into. I am not sure why.. its a good book. maybe because i was not use the sole is was written in. I guess it took a bit for it to get moving. its a great twist, on a classic tale of un- naturals books that I love to read so much.
I would say give this book a chance, its a fun ride in the end.

Quite unique and original. The story spans the globe beautifully with characters that are compelling and creepy. Lilith and her children are attempting to spread her vision and it is horror at its best. The main character goes through a tortured journey that is not of his choosing. Great narration and story together make this a creepy but compelling listen. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
