Jennifer Niven can write! Her writing is amazing and beautiful and you do get swept away in her descriptions. But, this fell short of 'Holding up the Universe" and "All the Bright Places". The story didn't really go anywhere. It was essentially a snap shot of a holiday romance, not much else. So whilst the writing was brilliant-the depictions of the intensity and angst of first love-the overall book was not as good as I hoped it would be. And for me, that boils down to a lack of actual story.

I was disappointed by this story.
