When Astra takes herself and her witchy sisters to the coast for a much-needed break, she expects nothing more than a relaxing holiday. But when their cousin Amelia washes up on the beach dead, she knows there's more to the story than the police are letting on.

With shape-shifting fish lurking around every corner and a sassy mermaid's secrets churning beneath the pier, Astra has to jump in and protect her sisters while investigating Amelia's mysterious death—a wild ride that leads the police to point the finger straigt at the Arden sisters.

Will they be able to prove their innocence in time? Or will they succumb to the depths below?

No gore, intimate scenes, or swearing - only a captivating story suitable for adults.

I have enjoyed the 7books is the series so far. love Artie the owl he full of sassy comebacks. lead character seems slow to explore her God given gifts. Good thing she has Emma and her family around her.

Eagerly the next audio book.

I love this series and I was delighted to find an additional sequel! Great story! This one focuses on getting missing sister, Jesse, to reunite with siblings, Lily and Dante, in Unlucky Valley. This was a quick one, although I would have liked to dive further into Jesse's special power - people feel compelled to tell her their innermost thoughts and secrets. There's a lot you could do with that! I do wish it had been BJ Harrison reading instead of virtual voice (I absolutely would have paid the higher price for that version). However, VV, while not great, didn't make the story not worth listening to for me. It's still a great story, and I really do hope there will be more! Such as... so what's going on with Dante? And Aunt Polly, while being as kooky as a box of crackers, with her lobster familiar, Herman, and army of friendly garden gnomes (unless you're up to no good), well, geez, do I need to say more? Cheeseburger pickle pie, anyone?
