Ok so the first story was a bit hard to take but it is honest. 'Spose nobody ever said all honestly was pleasant. Following stories draw on depth rarely seen. Think Hemmingway or Saint-Exupéry. Listen and enjoy.

This has to be the 8th book in a row I’ve listened to. His character development is flawless. He makes you care instantly. Edge of your seat action. Love the way he writes!

This is the perfect book for you. An excellent author, but this book just isn't my cup of tea. Please forgive me but just too much getting even and I'm just not in the mood. I understand this is probably more reality but I will try some of his other books as I amreally into deep lessons and sorry if I didn't give this book a chance

Broken is a series of short stories that are so dynamic and touching. The stories relate challenges of people, some of whom are 'broken' and how they have a line they will not cross. I found the tales exceptional and I highly recommend this book. It will engage your brain, your own morals and values. Excellent!

The last one breaks your heart but these novellas all work. Winslow has experimented with different styles for a couple. They're all violent, as one would expect from Winslow. But they all carry some evidence of real life narratives. The narration is spot on.
