I personally found the dark humor underlining throughout the book and found it morbidly amusing. The main female character has that sassy and bad assy side of her as well!

I started this series by reading book 2 so it was nice to finally be able to read the first one to see where it all came from. I enjoyed it a lot. I was able to listen to the audiobook of it and I thought the narrators did a great job. Definitely recommend this series.
