Jeffery Deaver is an international number-one bestselling author. His books are sold in 150 countries and have been translated into 25 languages. He has served two terms as president of Mystery Writers of America, and was recently named a Grand Master of MWA, whose ranks include Agatha Christie, Ellery Queen, Mary Higgins Clark, and Walter Mosley.

I watch Tracker every week and I love Colton Shaw. Very good short story! For a short story it was good and to the point. I could see it produced for the Tracker series.

I love this series by Deaver, the protagonist, Colter Shaw, is unique and is himself, captivating. His line of work offers broad travel across the country and brings to mind the traveling gun slinger, although he doesn’t carry a gun. If you like this story by Deaver, you should listen to the entire series. Also, try The Iron Marshall by Louis L’Amour.
