When Cassie Coburn moved to London, she never thought she'd be involved in a quadruple homicide.
After a car accident ended her medical career before it even started, Cassie moved to London on a whim, expecting to see the sights and live the typical tourist backpacker lifestyle.
Instead she finds herself accompanying a French private detective, Violet Despuis, as they attempt to find out who poisoned four people in the middle of London.
Cassie's life soon includes this crazy detective, an ancient landlady with a curious past, a mischievous orange cat who likes going for walks on a leash, and a super hot pathologist that Cassie is sure is out of her league.
And they haven't even found the murderer yet...
Follow Cassie through the streets of London in this boxed set containing the following novels by Samantha Silver: Poison in Paddington, Bombing in Belgravia and Whacked in Whitechapel.

This "cozy mystery" is just what I wanted and needed. Great stories and a few fun LOL moments. Well worth the money/credit
The narration is just fantastic. Sometimes English accents in audible books drive me bonkers (being originally from the UK) but she did an amazing job.
Having only read the first book in this box set I already have the next box set purchased and will be buying the rest
loved it !! nice easy read mystery

I had the first book figured out in no time. Book 2 I guess I didn’t even really try as I was bored to death. Book 3….well, I made it to chapter 5 and had to quit.
I liked Cassie okay. At least she wasn’t annoying. Violet, on the other hand, was written poorly. Samantha Silver, like so many cozy writers lacks imagination, originality and are prone to describe things in tremendous detail just to fill pages.
In the first book if I had counted the number of times she used the word CRAZY to describe someone or something I’d have never gotten to the second book.
She uses the term “quintessentially British” way too much. And how cliche is Violets constant use of the phrase “how do you say”? I’m sure if I were to continue reading this series Cassie and the coroner predictably fall in love.
I have read ALOT of cozy mysteries. Some were great and I hated to see the series end. Some I just couldn’t wait to end. This set does not fall into the first category.

Silver’s story is well-written with an occasional grammar glitch, like missing objective pronouns about every third prepositional phrase and getting subjunctive mood wrong—along with most moderns. But Silver’s imagination is entertaining and her crises believable, even if the relaxed association with the police is unlikely.
But we like Cassie and Violet, and their adventures enough to overlook those minor mistakes.
Patricia Santomasso does a good job, adept at a host of accents and male and female tones, without a flaw.
We’ll move on to the rest of the series. It’s a welcome Cozy find.
Entirely listenable
