Absolutely loved this story with Darcy, Evan, and Sarah. The way she first thigh he didn't like her. Darcy was a little quick to assume and could be a little snarky without realizing it. But when Evan hired her to be his nanny for Sarah, feelings between them really stated to change. They saw each other in a different light. He was so taken aback with how amazing she was with Sarah. And I loved seeing them develop an attraction that tgey kept to themselves. Honestly, i was growing impatient and needed them to say something soon. Thar was my only disgruntle. It took way too long to get there. And then the wrench of her going back to school. That really caused some tension as they weren't sure hot to navigate that. Some assumptions were made, things stared heading in the wrong direction... but it was awesome seeing them work through things and finally come together. I loved this story. And Sarah was a huge highlight in this.
The narrator, is by far my absolute fave to date. She did an outstanding job and really made this story come to life

I enjoyed this story. Darcy Fletcher needed a job as she looked for a new career path. Evan Porter needed a nanny for his daughter during the football season. The two agreed to put their differences aside and help each other out until January. The story was charming. The characters were personable. The tropes were age-gap and close proximity. Cindy Goulding's narration was good, but her voice for the young daughter edged toward whiny at times. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Another sweet small town age gap romance by River Ford. Evan and Darcy. And Evan's daughter, 6 yo Sarah. Some angst. Lots of "awe" moments. Pulling for them the whole way!

The narration was spot on. A real cute voice for the 6yo Sarah. 5 well deserved stars for this narrator.

This is the second book in the Seasons of Sugar Creek Series, a small town romance. Darcy and Evan's story is well written, and sweet. The characters are well developed. Cindy Goulding did a great job bringing this story to life. #StoryOrigin
