"Other people are not meant to love us in the exact way we think they should; they are meant to set up a healing ceremony at which we learn to love ourselves." Ceremony is a collection for those on the cusp of becoming. It is a reminder that we were not meant to fit into this world perfectly, but to live in such a way that might forge a path all our own. It is a reminder that we are one with each other and nature itself. It is a reminder that we contain within us the latent potential of every future possibility we can conceive of. It is a reminder that we often must release what is not ours in order to receive what is, that we are all born with a unique imprint to leave upon the world, and that self-love is not an infatuation, but a homecoming. Ceremony is a book written around the idea that the most unlikely moments are often the very ones offering us a chance to meet ourselves more deeply; it is a book for the ones who are ready to stop waiting and wondering, and dive all the way into who they were meant to be.

I wish I would have been able to listen to what has been an awakening even at my stage of life, an emotional masterpiece for the decades of pain, misunderstanding, and my internal brokeness Ive felt over the last 50 years but I dont believe I really would have been able to honestly 'hear' it the same as im hearing it now at the age of 65. My heart swelled, broke again, understood, then forgave my childish notions I had been waiting for alone. After 3 failed marriages, 3 adult children grown and gone, 6 far too busy grands I was waiting for my life to end. My purpose was over, my family was healthy, grown, and gone too busy for visits, calls, or remembering gramma anymore. I was preparing to leave this earth until I heard this. Now Im cleaning my glasses, looking at single seniors travel brochures, widening my views and horizons, clawing back my long lost hope and im not waiting on them or planning to die here alone with my dogs today or any time soon! Thank you Brianna! Youve changed my life!

its the story of my life.

This little gem is an incredibly important listen if you struggle with shame, uncertainty, regret, or just need a reminder of your inherent worth. Incredibly empathic, thoughtful and supportive narration by the author herself. 11/10.

If I could gift this to every person I know and don’t know, to every human in this planet, I would! Everyone needs to hear this. I had continuous goose bumps listening to this author. Her writing is poetry like I’ve never heard. I’ve devoured self help and spiritual material my whole life and I’m now 50. If I could pick out the one that blew my mind the most, it would be this. How simple yet deep it is. It makes me love and appreciate everything there is. I’d listen to this recording everyday and I will. Thank you Brianna. What a gift to humanity is this work. I can’t wait to read / listen more of your stuff. So thankful, I found you.
