This was a really good story, detailed with an amazing amount of world building for being so short.
The narrator was also really good. I really wish there was more, I hope there will be more some day.

Holy smokes folks! Marc Vietor himself! Croaker of Glen Cook's Black Company! (Read those next kids). How did they get him? Well I don't know but he was the perfect fit for this beautifully written short story. It was so cool, so enjoyable. I love the fallen paladin aspect and the terror of going to fight demons. It was written like vietnam war fantasy, but so much more than that. I will be listening and reading everything from Liane Merciel from now on. Splendid job.
