Opposites attract when a jaded college student and a wealthy playboy cross paths in this charming and unlikely love story.

Chasing Red is a new release from Hachette Audiobooks: Powered by Wattpad—an innovative collaboration between Hachette Book Group, a leading publisher, and Wattpad, a passionate storytelling community of over 45 million people. Your favorite online stories, now available in your headphones!

Cynical and hardworking college student Veronica Strafford gets kicked out of her apartment. Broke and homeless, she wakes up in an unfamiliar room and unable to remember the events of the night before. She plans to make a fast exit, but finds notorious basketball player Caleb Lockhart instead.

Caleb Lockhart has never been rejected before. He's rich, hot, and girls always seek him out. And he knows it. A girl in a make-me-sin red dress and red lips catches his attention at a club and he playfully calls her Red. When Red rejects him, he is at a complete loss.

Intensely drawn to her, Caleb wants something for the first time in his life and pursues her. But Veronica's painful past is catching up to her, and her heart might just be the one thing Caleb can't win.

An international phenomenon with over 140 million reads. Text edited from the original by Sourcebooks.

I really liked it I just couldn’t stop laughing at how they both said Caleb.

I first read this book a couple years ago and loved it right away. I’ve reread it over and over and know it like the back of my hand, when it was first getting published I bought it on amazon and now it’s so worn that it’s barely legible! I got audible a couple months ago and never even thought of looking for this book on here, as I’ve been looking for new books to read, but I’m so so glad I thought of it. This is truest my favorite book in the entire world and you should definitely give it a try!!

Ehh. I didn’t love it like I did when I read it on Wattpad. She’s changed the book some since then. I’m pretty sure they slept together in chasing red & mended fences before the book ended. Veronica is really annoying to me 😂🤦🏾‍♀️. But I feel like the female narrator is pretty good… the guy narrator needs works. He does pretty good for Caleb but when he voices the friends you can tell he’s trying too hard. It’s like he’s trying to make them sound like surfers and it just comes across as corny. Overall it was a good read and I’m gonna go listen to the next one now! 🥳

I've listened to too many books that are 10+ hours long and are soooo boring and redundant as if they are just trying to make the book longer with numbing information that throws off your attention. I am pleased that this book kept me captivated with it's storyline and its amazing use of expressions and verbiage. The author did a fantastic job of detailing every scene and scenario and the female narrator was just on point with the way she brought this book to life. I would give her a 9.5 and the male narrator a 8 out of 10. One thing that bothered me so much was the pronunciation of the name Caleb. It took me a few hours of hearing it over and over for it to grow on me as I am so used to the name being pronounced Kay- leb not ka-leb. There was one time when Caleb was talking about his dad and when he said his dad called for him that was the only time the name was pronounced the way I am used to and I was like AHA!!! 🤣 It was one single time but I'll take it! 🤣🤣🤣 Highly recommend this book...and off I go to start Book 2!!! Need to find out what happens with Red and Caleb next!

Awesome and Captivating Book!!!
