This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
Children of Light is a six-book Christian end-times saga that follows ordinary believers after the Rapture as they learn that obedience to God is not safe, not celebrated, and not always understood—but it is always worth the cost.
Blending speculative fiction with Scripture, testimony, and spiritual formation, the series traces how faith matures under pressure, how darkness normalizes itself through systems and power, and how God’s Light is carried forward by those willing to surrender control and remain faithful without certainty.

Book Three of the Children of Light Series
A powerful Christian dystopian story of sacrifice, protection, and the fight for the innocent.

As the Master’s warriors scour the land for Shaheen’s killer, Emma is forced into a mission she never sought but cannot refuse. When she discovers Shaheen’s children—and their grieving mother—are in grave danger, she chooses the path of sacrifice, leading them to a secret orphan refuge hidden from the eyes of tyranny.

But these children are not ordinary.
They carry a spark the enemy fears.
A light the darkness cannot explain.
And a destiny the world is not ready for.

With soldiers closing in, betrayal rising, and spiritual forces shifting, Emma must risk everything—including her own life—to protect the ones God has placed in her care.

Her courage will be tested.
Her faith refined.
And her sacrifice may become the turning point in a war far bigger than she ever imagined.

A story of devotion, divine calling, and God’s heart for the vulnerable in a world tearing itself apart.

Perfect for fans of Terry Blackstock, Joel Rosenberg, Nadine Brandes, and Frank Peretti, this moving installment blends end-times intensity with heartfelt spiritual depth.

While the post rapture story line is pure fiction with no sound biblical base, it is intriguing as fiction. This book series would be so much better without the virtual voice. Some word pronunciations are a brutal fail. If you keep listening past the end, the next virtual “assistant” (and I use that term loosely) makes suggestions for books that can be BOUGHT with my PLAYER! It is the nastiest sounding snotty voice that never fails to make me wish “she” was real so I could slap her. If Audible wants to sell more books, they need to fire her. Her unpleasantness guarantees I’ll never purchase on of the suggestions. Also sample cuts off before anyone could possibly get interested. The opening credits rarely draw in a reader.

Novel plot idea for this series, but virtual voice underwhelming.
