Revisiting these stories as an adult has been a really fun experience, especially since this collection includes so many different titles in one place. I had forgotten some of the smaller details in stories like Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood, so hearing them again was quite a treat. The modern wording makes the scenes much easier to visualize in my head as I listen along. It is a very well-rounded set that covers everything from lighthearted magic to the more realistic struggles found in stories like Little Women. I am very happy with the overall variety here.

I realized recently that I didn't actually know the full stories of some of these books, so this collection was the perfect way to finally fill those gaps. The modern English makes the events in Huckleberry Finn and Little Women much easier to digest without losing any of the emotional impact. It’s a very practical and fun way to get through a huge amount of famous literature.
