From the author who shocked the world with his groundbreaking and bestselling Battle Series, comes Mark Romang’s most chilling thriller yet. Investigative journalist Lauren Kramer, a rising star in the cable TV news industry, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime. Find an angel and interview him, and do it within a four-week window. Lauren’s target is a mysterious being who has rescued people from peril all over the world, only to disappear without a trace soon after performing the miracle. Armed with various newspaper accounts of the alleged angel’s exploits, an artist rendering of the angel’s face, and assisted by a kindly seminary professor specializing in angel studies, Lauren hits the road in an all-out effort to do the impossible and acquire the interview. But Lauren soon discovers she isn’t the only one searching for the hero. A secretive group of people have spent large sums of money trying to capture him. And the more Lauren learns of these dangerous individuals and their plans to alter the planet, the more convinced she becomes she’s chasing the wrong story altogether. An action thriller tour de force with an over-arching Christian theme, The Chronicles of the Mercy Giver crosses over into multiple genres, including mystery, suspense, fantasy, science-fiction, and dystopian. Computer voicing made it lack passion and excitement. The story was interesting. But, lack of emotion really hindered it. I did like the christian aspects. Prayer in a story was kinda cool.

It was ok.

I read these books quite some time ago and hoped they would be audio books someday. Im glad they are finaly here. I saw that the audio was ai generated and that does not bother me. Computer read books have come a long way... however I'm sad that book 2 is nowhere to be found on audible! I remember really liking book 2 "Tomorrow's Dawn", but only book 3 is available. Book 2 wrapps up the story from book 1.
Warning, Book 3 is it's own thing and very, very different from the first 2 books. If you go into that book thinking It will be a continuation of the others in any way, you will be disappointed. I never finished book 3, "Tmorrow's Sunset" for that very reason.

Enjoyable, but where is book 2?

Loved it! Very exciting and great story line. The only time I was willing to sit through a computer narrator.

The virtual voice as narrator leaves the whole story flat. The story itself was disappointing. And what happened to the ending?! I am a big fan of Christian novels. The gospel came across but the story line was just too different.

Still don’t like Virtual voice
