Liked the local history but could have done with less movie history, I understand it could be linked locally but at some points, a little dry.

Reads like a series of essays written by a bright but gullible middle schoolers. A lot of the tales have a very tenuous connection to the coal region and no connection to hoodoo. Pleasant narrator.
