I love Time Travel books and this one was very different than most. Very original. I enjoyed the entire book. She did a great job. The narration was great as well.

*Come Back to Me* is a captivating blend of historical romance, time travel, and faith-driven fiction. Jody Hedlund weaves a compelling story about Marian Creighton, a research scientist who finds herself swept back to 14th-century England in search of a cure—and answers surrounding her father's mysterious illness. The time-travel aspect and rich historical detail gave me *Outlander* vibes, especially the way love and faith anchor Marian across centuries. The pacing is quick, the romance heartfelt, and the stakes feel genuinely high. I would’ve liked a bit more character depth at times, but overall, it's an engaging start to a unique time-slip series.

This is definitely a novel approach to time travel!! Great plot. I really liked the characters but I do believe the male main lead is too accepting of modern feminist behaviors from a woman. A Lord in the Middle Ages? No way no how. His word is the law and would not be questioned. I would have like to see her come to terms with that reality and to have a little more accountability for her quarrelsome argumentative behavior with him. Truth is nobody really likes a boss bitch. Other than that it is really good.
