Focusing on one of the most fundamental aspects of the Christian walk, John Owen delves into the heart of any healthy relationship—communication. Owen emphasizes how crucial it is to understand the Trinity and how the importance of communion applies to each person of God. Owen explains that in fully understanding the Triune God, it is clear that each part has a unique role and therefore encourages unique relationships and communication with believers. A healthy Christian life is grown through open communication and a dedicated connection with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The narration was difficult to follow due to the voice of the narrator and his emphasis of the content.

Disappointing Narration

Very very thorough, but lost the forest by talking about each individual tree. Seems to be a doctoral dissertation put into a book.

God as a Comforter

I love the contents book. It has captured the beauty and glory of God’s love and communion with man as only the English affectionate writers can do. This narrator destroys the grandeur of the book itself by reading it with a nasal and an efeminine tone. Someone should get a real English man to read this for us. I will be more careful next time about listening to the narrator before I purchase a book.

Terrible narrator

I plowed through four hours, including time spent backing up, trying to get something out of this book. I finally gave up and accepted the fact it would be a total waste of my time to endure a total of 15 1/2 hours to complete the book as I was getting absolutely nothing at all from hearing it read. The narrator's voice was excessively whiney and he read like a 3rd grader.

Gave up the struggle
