This audiobook is jam-packed with fantastic advice and almost a “best practices” on how to train your new pup and how to be the best dog-parent possible. I found the 7 steps to be successful in your first day with your new puppy to be super helpful as well as crate training (in a kind, compassionate way) and leash training. The narration was top-notch and made the book even more engaging. Definitely recommend!

I watch my buddy’s dog quite often since he travels for work and I’ve always dreaded the nightly walks because his dog was so extra about it. The audiobook format was a huge plus for me because I could listen while walking him. Wow I am so glad I listened to this first before welcoming home a fur baby. We have been wanting a dog to complete our family for so long. With two little boys at home. Now I’m considering adopting an older possibly trained dog already considering our lifestyle and not wanting to wake up so much in the middle of the night again.
