Staff Sergeant Bea “Mic” Michaels is the leader of Steel Corps, an elite group of the finest men in the American armed forces. Commissioned by the US government to do what other units cannot, existing both above and outside the law.

such a freaky and well told story. it wasn't an easy story to listen to.... it was very very vivid and very emotional and full of action.
I enjoyed the story it wasn't a usual susense but it was a very good one it was bit harsh but it was good.

I was impressed with how good this audio was. The main character was a bulldog and Addison brought the whole world to life. I am very much looking forward to the rest of the series. I was given a free copy of this audio in return for an unbiased review.

I really enjoyed it. This story is full of action, suspense and is extremely detailed. The narration was great and kept me entertained. The author did a great job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last! I look forward to reading more books in this series. Core of Steel by J.B. Havens is a great thriller. I enjoy trying new authors and narrators, and have lately been listening to mystery and thriller books. I was really impressed by the writing style. The action was non-stop and the imagery is vivid. Mic is a tenacious character and has lots of depth in her small stature. The book has some unexpected twists. Addison Barnes did a great job bringing the characters to life. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.
