The day I started seeing ghosts, my life went to shit.

Too bad the Fates don't hand out gift receipts because, respectfully, I'd like a refund. Unfortunately, those meddlesome hags aren't even close to being done with me.

A powerful, destructive creature is on the prowl and threatens the existence of the universe. The only way to stop the creature is with equal destructive power. That's where I come in.

Not that I have any kind of destructive power of my own. That would have been way too cool. Instead, I've been tasked with acting as a supernatural dog walker for an equally powerful creature. Of course, said creature happens to be my ex from a previous life. Yeah, it's as messy as it sounds.

He's lost me once and will stop at nothing to possess me.

To cap it off, we're bound by a bond that makes me burn for him, even when I'm not sure I like the guy.

I'm fine, totally fine.

(I'm not fine).

At first I wasn’t sure about this book. It was starting a little slow for my liking but at the end I could get get the second book fast enough! I love the realness mixed with fantasy. Not to much spicy but overall good!

Slow but leaves you in a cliffhanger

Not to spoil but this book was a bit triggering for abusive relationships! I was a bit shocked that the majority of the book was so focused on that, yet I was determined to finish because I really enjoyed the way the author articulates the story and writing style, and wanted to see it to the end. I’m glad I did, the ending turned the story around in a direction that felt more interesting and enjoyable. Book two was so good! I’m looking forward to book 3 now.

The ending saved it all!

I can’t wait to read book 2! The initial warnings didn’t make sense at first but it hooks you in anyways. The storyline is so unique.

So good and very unexpected

The audio was good except for when she reads for the MMC. Kind of cringe but I'm sure its hard to talk in a deep male voice as a woman.

The story was a big miss for me. I did finish the book because I can't help but I regret forcing myself to finish it. The relationship between the FMC and MMC is severely lacking in romance. The way the story is written is just not good. The "bond" is confusing and not fun to read about. The lack of good communication is overplayed and makes my eyes roll. The story feels hollow. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Story is lacking. Definitely not a romance

The narration of male voices was a little cringe. And the rough sex was a little hard to listen to. But I’m guessing it’s leading to something good. The end was exciting.

Fun story and wondering where the story leads
