After being scattered across the globe, our heroes seek to reunite with each other. But the consequences of recent events continue to plague them.

Cooper enters the Fertile Desert, in search of Nabi. Katherine seeks to escape the drow island, and take back her ship. Julian tries to placate Akane, while keeping Chaz out of trouble. Stacy, having deemed Dave a lost cause, vows revenge on the ettins, who continue their destructive rampage in the Cedar Wilds. Dave, finally free of Stacy's yoke, sets his sights on power and wealth. And Tim....What the hell is Tim up to?

Meanwhile, Mordred's army of brainwashed Knights spread ever farther, in their search for his dice.

I loved every chapter of this book.

Idk what that other reviewer is smoking - Catherine is my FAVORITE character! Spiderbitch!

The ending was a fantastic twist I didnt see coming.

To everyone in the reviews who wants this series to end? Shut it! This series is my favorite.

I would love to have the plot advance like everyone, but I can savor waiting bc each book is so excellent!

This series rivals Bobiverse as my favorite books of all time. I dont want this to ever end.

Fantastic as always!

The original point of the quest, everyone escaping the game to return to their old lives, has fallen away. I don't believe most of the main cast will leave since they have found purpose in the game world that they didn't back home. So I'm not listening explicitly for how they get home, but for the adventures they have along the way. Even if it can become a bit more gross than it needs to be.

The point is, they're not going to leave.

It seems like the story is getting harder to write for Bevan, it's decent, but it's lost a little something in my opinion.

another good one, but the jokes getting stale.

The narration is incredible. Sleep really brings the characters to life and the sound effects are on point.

I like following along with a series like this. The style clearly changes naturally as the story assembles itself.

Mordred is one of my favorite villains of all time, he is hatable and scary. He is a very believable and relatable person. He taps into emotions that no other villain has ever done for me, and for that, I respect this series.

Lighthearted, thoughtful, and narrated incredibly

Hilarious, great performance, memorable characters, and a satisfying plot--what else is there? This book outperforms many others in the series in all those metrics.

I do feel like more of an inline recap would be useful. (Who is this person travelling with Julian and Chaz, again? Several chapters later....OH, YEAH! That person!) The plot has become quite extensive, throughout the years, so I think we could all use a few reminders. Nevertheless, the book is quite entertaining in its own right.

If you're a fan of the series, you need this book.

One of my favorites in the series
