This book was intense. I have so many unanswered questions. I can't wait for book 2 to come out!

If you have read Jen's other books you will love this one. We get to see more of the gang from the Silver Wolf series. I love knowing more about the side characters in this world, and the fact that Alex is a big part of this story.

Roni is the MC and she is headstrong, brave, and puts family first. But she has some mysterious things going on in her life.

This is definitely a must read, but everything by Jen is a must read!

Veronica (Ronnie) is on a mission to track down her sister and bring her back from the mysterious town where she disappeared with her new boyfriend. Tracking down her sister, Annie comes with a lot of complications unbeknownst to Ronnie at the time.
The book, is a rather fast pace read, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We see more of Alex—the vampire who likes to have people owe him favors. Oh Lordy, that boy won’t know what happened to him and Ronnie is bent on keeping him on his toes.
I enjoyed seeing Sterlyn and the gang and seeing how they coexist with the vampires.
The vampires have some major problems happening in Shadow City. There are some rogue vampires that unfortunately have made matters worse.
The dramatic ending almost had me throwing my phone at the wall. The author certainly knows how to end a book without us realizing it has concluded. It is so good!! I cannot wait to see what happens next.
The narrator, Amy Landon did okay portraying Ronnie and the females. I struggled a bit when she portrayed the guys. But the tones and inflections used for the female characters were great.

First off let me start by saying I absolutely love this authors ability to have the audio books done right around the time of release day for the book it truly has made my work days go by so fast especially when I do not have time to sit down and read a book.

Second I have missed Shadow City so much!! I love these characters and their journey. I haven’t fell in love with a world in a while so this one is ver refreshing captivating and I can’t get enough. This story will have you hooked from beginning to end and the hardest part is waiting for the next release.

I though the narrator was great and could fully immerse me in the Shadow City world!! Can’t wait for the next one!

I love a good Jen L Grey book and would have to say that this is one of my favorite books of her life so far. Okay I really just love this world and hope it never ends. The connection between the two is something else and I can't wait for more. Amy did an amazing job narrating this book!
