I really enjoyed the slow build up of this. I loved Ember. She’s such a great character, she’s flawed, strong, morally good, & not timid. I really liked the angst and the unknown. The story was full of background, & backstory, character build up, intrigue & teenage angst.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but this series was everything. It made me laugh and cry and want to throw my phone haha but all those things is what makes a good series. Please give it a chance I freaking loved it!

The storyline is different than most of the usual paranormal romance books. This is the 2nd time I am rereading the series and I can tell you that the story only gets better with each series. This has a great lovers to enemies and morally gray MMC for those who love those tropes. Also has some spice which I know will increase as the series progresses.
