A school shooting. A city in mourning. A prosecutor out for justice.

When a massacre at an elite private high school leaves 17 dead and a city reeling with horror, Philadelphia assistant district attorney Jessica Black will stop at nothing to find justice for the victims. But doing so will require facing an adversary even more terrifying than the teenage shooter.

The Internet can be as deadly as a gun.

Lurking in secrecy is an evil voice known only as True_Man. True_Man haunts the Internet, befriending the lonely and the frustrated, turning adolescent emotions toward destruction. Jessie believes True_Man is just as guilty of murder as the teenager he manipulated, but proving it - and bringing True_Man to justice - will take all of Jessie's formidable legal skills and more.

It’s just as captivating as the rest of the series I’ve listened too. Good change in the norm from just the average murder mystery

Good twist

Funny how the story mimicked the characters. The men in this story were all useless, even the swat team.

A nice listen

This storyline is tough to listen to as it unfortunately, captures too much reality in our world these days. However, The author did a good job with the twists and turns in this legal thriller.

Tough storyline, but good

I like the narrative but felt that ending was rushed. I would have enjoyed more investigation of the plot.

Not bad

An entertaining and short audiobook. This was an improvement over #2 in the series, but this time Jessie is less interesting as a character but a foil to introduce the concepts of "men's rights," school bullying, entitlement, etc. With more flesh to those concepts, this could have been a great book rather than merely an entertaining listen.

Entertaining and short.
