I thought the book was well written and realistic. I especially liked the visual of Karl’s conversion. I don’t know of another author who’s done it like that, but it’s scriptural and powerful. I didn’t care too much for the narrator’s voice, too soft for me. I also liked the ending and where the family was at with everything.
