Devil’s Cub has long been one of my favorite Heyer novels. I’ve read it many times, but must share with you my absolute delight in this Audible version read by Michael Maloney. His narration is pure joy. He brings alive the characters so well, he had me chuckling and laughing out loud. His Lord Vidal is heart stopping and his Lord Rupert hilarious. A truly delicious experience all round. I highly recommend!

The voice of the actor who spoke Vidal's part was very appropriate. This is a charming little story which allows the reader to indulgently smile at the wit and humor of the situations Heyer weaves into the plot. I am able to relax and enjoy a few hours of light hearted fun as I read this story.

Narrator TERRIBLE..I love this book and have read it multiple times. However, I won't listen again until a better recording is available. Hopefully Audible will exchange it at no cost.
