A memoir. Do I Know You? is the funny, honest and sometimes surreal story of three women thrown together by circumstance to face declining health and ultimately, loss. The story is told through brief vignettes that are contrastingly humorous and poignant.

What I appreciate most about this book is the way it balances lightness with gravity. The vignettes provide a real sense of living with all the quirks, frustrations, and moments of joy that come with caring for those who we love. The author is candid and compassionate, offering insights into memory, loss, and connection that resonated deeply with me. The narrator did a wonderful job capturing these emotions throughout her reading.
Listening to the audio book now, after first reading the physical copy years ago, has made me appreciate the story all over again. The experience feels like revisiting old friends, comforting, honest. and full of life. This isn't just a memoir, it's a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring bonds that shape us, often through remarkably trying times.
I highly recommend Do I Know You? to anyone who enjoys memoirs rich in emotion, insight, and humor. It's a small book with a big heart, and I'm grateful to have experienced it.
A heartfelt memoir that stays with you
