Visiting the English seaside town of Cromer in the summer of 1932, the Doctor happens upon the strange world of the Cromer Palace of Curios. really love this story. Great to hear Tom Baker leading a rollicking new Story featuring his wonderful creation, the best Doctor Who.

Fun Tom Baker Doctor Who story!

Maybe I'm just spoiled by Big Finish Productions and their excellent lines of Doctor Who (and other franchises), but I really can't say I was all that thrilled or intrigued by this story. It isn't that the ideas are bad, but the quality of the writing is terrible. And of course, since it's all told as a past-tense flash-back, there is no sense of urgency, suspense, or fear.
