This series captivated me from the very beginning and it continues to do so with this book. SE Lund did a great job re-writing this book to be from Drake's POV. I love having the opportunity to see both sides of the story! I cannot wait for the next one to come to audio!

Jack did an amazing job bringing Drake to life and I cannot wait to listen to more from him!

Although Drake really ticked me off a few times.. I really liked this book. This book continues their story, and their journey into a D/s relationship. Drake doesn’t know any other way. He needs to be in charge. I liked the end... I’m not telling what happened.. but I liked it.

If you are a fan of this series. Or like people who liked FSOG this is going to hit you right is the sweet spot. Drake really starts to evolve is this story to become a more interesting well rounded character. I still don’t quite connect with or relate to the characters or their struggles. While Drake begins to become more fleshed out and frankly human/ likable his delivery, opinions and inner dialogue are rather elitist. His references and music taste make absolutely no sense to me. My mom was born in the late 60s and I have no nostalgic feel for that time. And my last issue is with the fact that everyone is either republican or socialist for a book that plays on sexuality being on a spectrum apparently politics are not. I tried I really did. I perhaps am not the target demographic. If you already love the series or have interest in listening please continue on. I mean Jack Calihan’s voice is worth the price.

A delicious, steamy fun romance. It was interesting watching Drake and Kate overcome all the challenges that they faced together. I loved it when Drake called Kate "Miss Bennett, it made me smile, every time! Kate's best friend needed to get lost in a very big way and Drake's ex-wife has some major issues too. Can't wait for book 3 to be released please hurry Audible! While I'm waiting I'll be listening to Kate's side of the story. I've read FSOG it was okay but IMO this series is so much better. Absolutely credit worthy.

Jack Calihan is brilliant and his smooth delivery is perfection!
