When the Dream starts answering back, truth is the first blade you draw.

The veil is thinning, and Sia, the girl the Dream keeps finding, can feel it in her bones. Whispers turn to doorways. Maps she draws at midnight become wounds in the world by dawn. When their hidden sanctuary is attacked and the sky burns, Sia tears open a path into the Dream to save the people who have become her family, but gateways open both ways.

On one side waits a liar who speaks in lullabies and offers a gentler world at the cost of her will. On the other stands Mia, the sister Sia refuses to lose again, fighting to be Sia’s anchor instead of her shadow. A dragon who remembers older wars, a mage stitched together by discipline and doubt, and a Templar whose sister carries an angel’s fire hold a fragile line between judgment and ruin.

Prophecy whispers of three rising blades: Dreamer, Singer, and Silent Mage, drawn together when faith is almost gone. If they find each other, the sky will burn.

Dreamer is a dark, luminous fantasy about found family, chosen purpose, and the cost of saying no to a beautiful lie.

Weaves together dragons, mages, and fractured realities into a story that feels both mythic and deeply human. It’s a stunning continuation of the Living Myth Saga, full of danger, beauty, and hope.

Loved the dark and moody vibe and the found family stuff was spot on. It’s a bit of a slow burn at the start but the ending is absolutely massive. Good quality sound and performance as well. Worth a listen if you're into these types of stories.

I was really impressed by the creative ideas in this sequel, especially the part where whispers turn into actual doors. It makes the world feel like it is falling apart in a way that is both beautiful and terrifying to imagine. The pacing is just right, so it never feels slow or like it's dragging on too long. It’s a solid adventure that really expands on the world we saw in the first book.

The idea of dreams becoming dangerous reflects how powerful imagination and anxiety can feel real when left unchecked. It made me think about how the mind doesn’t always clearly separate what is real from what is feared, especially when emotions are intense. Sometimes worries can grow in our heads until they feel just as overwhelming as actual events, even if nothing is truly happening yet. It’s a reminder that unchecked thoughts can distort perception and create fear that feels very real in the moment.

Dreamer is the kind of fantasy that doesn’t just tell a story—it pulls you into a world that feels alive, unsettling, and deeply emotional. From the very first line, there’s this haunting, almost hypnotic quality to the writing that lingers long after you’ve put the book down.

Sia is such a compelling protagonist—raw, intuitive, and caught between worlds that are both magical and dangerous. The concept of the Dream responding to her, shifting reality itself, is beautifully executed and feels both ethereal and eerie. It’s not just fantasy for the sake of escapism—it’s layered with meaning, emotion, and tension.

What really stands out is the emotional depth. The bond between Sia and Mia adds such a powerful, grounding force to the story. It’s not just about saving the world—it’s about love, identity, and the struggle to hold onto yourself when everything is trying to reshape you. The idea of choosing truth over a “beautiful lie” is woven throughout in such a thought-provoking way.
