#1 bestselling cosmic horror writer Donald Morrison’s Further the Void is a relentless return to the terror that humanity was never meant to survive.

Private First Class Jason Fascio believed he had escaped the nightmare on Mars. For nearly eight years, he drifted in cryo, suspended between memory and oblivion, hoping distance and time had buried what he witnessed at the Attis Mining Colony. But when he awakens aboard the Janus Space Station, he quickly realizes the truth—some things do not stay buried. Some things follow.

At first, it’s subtle. Equipment malfunctions. Shadows where none should exist. Crew members reporting sounds in empty corridors. Then the deaths begin. As paranoia spreads and containment fails, Jason is forced to confront the horrifying possibility that the organism he survived did not die on Mars. It endured. It adapted. And now, trapped in the cold isolation of deep space, he and the crew must face an intelligence that is patient, merciless, and no longer contained.

A direct sequel to the fan-favorite cosmic horror novel ENTITY, Further the Void delivers suffocating tension, escalating dread, and relentless extraterrestrial terror. Perfect for fans of Dead Space, Alien, and The Thing, this gripping sci-fi horror thriller explores the true cost of survival—and the unimaginable horror of being found again.

This time the author borrowed from Alien: Isolation. This is another popcorn story; just like the first one i.e. something you can listen to while disengaging your brain.

It has the same issue with the narration as the first one... mispronouncing works, same tone and pitch used through the whole story which makes it hard to keep track of character.

Overall not a horrible story. A bit predictable.
